Ole Budal

Ole Budal, was born near Anselmo, AB on April 5, 1926.  Ole spent his whole life there until passing away on May 6, 2024, at the age of 98 years while surrounded by his family.  It is with heavy hearts and great sadness we say good-bye to our beloved husband, father, grandpa and great-grandpa.  Ole attended the Spruce Lodge School before starting his life logging, sawmilling, farming, hunting and fishing.

Ole is survived by his wife of 64 years Marie, 3 children – Louise, Clarence, Andy, 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.  Pre-deceased by his parents Jacob and Lovise, sister Mary and his son John.

Louise (Leonard) - children Gerri (Matt), Mike (Anna) and Tracy (Lesley).  Grandchildren - Jade, Jacob, Jaxson, - Aria and Anakin, - Bentley.
John’s children - Graham and Jessica (Skyler).  Grandchildren – Caylynn, Addison and Taylor.
Clarence (Darleen) - children Daniel, Mikaela (Joe) and Thor (Kaylee).  Grandchild - Guiseppe.
Andy (Elsenor) - children Steven, Brent and Tom.  Grandchild- Hadlynn

A Memorial service is to be held for Ole at the Anselmo Hall on May 25th, 2024, at 1:00pm.
