They moved to Grande Prairie to start their new life together and welcomed 3 daughters to the family.

His retirement at an early age allowed the couple to enjoy fishing, travelling to Florida, fishing, travelling to Mexico, fishing, camping in the Yukon/Alaska, more fishing, cross-Canada camper trip to the Maritimes, even more fishing, and a trip to Australia and New Zealand.

Predeceased by his brother, Barry Rodseth in 1948, Norman is survived by his wife, Janet, and his daughters – Judy Rodseth of Calgary; Lynn (Charles) Zelden of Weston, Florida; and Pat (Ferenc) Scobie of Hinton. He is also survived by his three grandchildren, Miriam Zelden, Noah Scobie and Eric Scobie and Norman’s sister, Elaine (Gary) Sky of Fairview.
