Norma Eileen (Chilton) Seibel

Norma Eileen Seibel passed away peacefully on October 14, 2023, at the age of 85. She was born on March 16, 1938, in Provost, Alberta, and then moved with her family to Wolf Creek Alberta in 1943. Norma married George Seibel, of Pioneer, in July of 1956, they remained married until her passing.

Left to mourn her loss is her husband George, son George Seibel and his wife Jen, son Lyle Seibel and his wife Lynn, daughter Patti Smith and husband Jerry, as well as daughter Sue Dozorec and her husband Chris. Norma leaves a legacy of many grandchildren and great grandchildren, who will miss her dearly.

Norma is also survived by her sisters Vivian Butterwick of Rocky Mountain House, Doris Becker of Edson, as well as sisters in law Merry Dechamplain of Morinville and Phyllis Lindberg of Spruce Grove.

As per Norma’s wishes, there will not be a formal Service. In lieu of floral tributes, the family is asking that an alternative donation to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation be made.

Norma’s family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Gous, and the staff at the Edson Hospital’s long term care unit for the exceptional care that she received during her stay at the facility.
