Neil Ernest Tredwin

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Neil Ernest Tredwin on Thursday April 17, 2025.  Neil passed away peacefully at the Hinton General Hospital.

Neil was born in Edmonton, AB on October 13, 1947. Neil called Hinton his home for many years. He loved his family and friends, his work, and time shared with his quadding buddies.  Although he talked about retiring, he never did. His dynamic drive kept him actively involved in support of all ongoing projects.

Neil will be forever loved and greatly missed by his wife of 50 years, Diane.  He is survived by his children Karen, Carrie Ann and Vincent, seven grandchildren and one great grandson.  He also leaves behind two sisters, Lynda and Fern, and numerous other family members.

Neil was predeceased by his parents Jean and Vincent, three sisters, Louise, Vinia and Charlene.  He was also predeceased by his beloved Golden Retrievers Annie and Biscuit. 

A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday May 14, 2025, at The Hinton Legion from 2-4pm.
