Murray Polley

1948-2019

Mr. Murray Polley of Hinton, beloved husband of Mrs. Eveline Polley, passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at the age of 70 years.

Murray was born in Biggar, Saskatchewan on April 30th, 1948 to Blake and Gladys Polley. Murray and his family moved to Jasper where Murray’s sister Nora already lived. Murray met his wife Eveline there and were married in Jasper on August 14, 1971. Murray worked for Park Canada for 35 years and retired in 2006.

The family moved to Hinton in 2003. Murray’s first love was always for his family and friends. His second love was for classic mustangs.

Besides his wife Eveline, Murray will be lovingly remembered by his children Angela (Dave) Garton of Jasper, and Jeffrey Polley of Hinton; grandchildren Gregory (Jessica) Garton, Taylor (Curtis) Rutherford, Katelyn Garton, Olivia Ede Polley; great-grandchildren Wyatt Garton, Amelia Rutherford, Lorelai Rutherford; sister Nora Dirks; brother Roy Polley; as well as numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and their families.

Murray was predeceased by his parents Blake and Gladys Polley.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
