Marshall Myron Harry Eliuk

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Marshall Myron Harry Eliuk .

 Husband, Father, Stepfather, Father-in-Law, Grandfather, Gido and friend… Marshall passed away peacefully at the age of 81, with his family by his side.

Marshall will be lovingly remembered by his wife Sandra and their blended family, daughter Angela Janke (Randy), son Brent (Tammy), stepdaughter Heather Bashforth (Doug), stepson Mervin Bashforth (Laurie Ell) and grandchildren Gillian, Sophia, Cohen, Emerson, Katelyn, Matthew, Joshua (Jazmine) and Tyson. As well as numerous family and friends.

He was predeceased by his Wife Olga, parents Mikari (Harry) and Stefania, sister Ruby and nephew Lance.

Born and raised in Vegreville, Marshall moved west and was a member of the Hinton community for over 50 years.  Being an avid outdoorsman, Marshall took advantage of all that the area had to offer: camping, quadding and … especially fishing.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Hinton Healthcare Center and the Hinton Home Care Program for all their care and compassion throughout his illness.

Memorial donations may be made in Marshall’s name to “Palliative Care” at the Hinton Healthcare Center.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Our Lady of the Foothills Catholic Church, 124 Tamarack Avenue, Hinton, Alberta, on Saturday, March 9th, 2024 at 1:00 pm, followed by a light lunch.
