The family of Margaret Sanders sadly announce her passing on March 2, 2023, at the age of 88.
Margaret was born in Vermillion Alberta, to Walter and Agnes Hinchey. They moved to Edson when she was 3, to the acreage just north of town. In 1954 she married Jack Sanders. They moved further up the north road to the Sanders Farm where they raised their 4 kids. Jack passed away in 1995 from cancer and Margaret continued to live at the farm until she was 81. Margaret was a beautiful soul, gentle, kind, warm-hearted, welcoming to anyone, always smiling, never said ill about anyone. In her 88 years she loved gardening, knitting, quilting and baking, especially buns, they were something special. The things she enjoyed the most was spending time with her friends and family, kids and animals, they brought her so much joy . We were lucky to have her as a Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Friend.
She will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her.
