Lorna Jane (Whitney) Butts

Lorna Jane Butts (Whitney) entered into rest on Thursday, December 15, 2022, in Mayerthorpe AB at the age of 84 years. She resided in Edson, AB.

She was born September 11, 1938, in Macklin, Saskatchewan to Jesse & Emma Whitney.

As a child, she lived in the small hamlet of Evesham, Saskatchewan with her 4 brothers and 8 sisters.

She worked in Uranium City as a waitress when she met Donald.They were married September 1, 1962. They lived in Calgary, AB until 1964 when they moved to Edson to start a family.

Lorna is survived by her husband, Donald; two children Darren (Alison) and Shelley (Lee Ferriss), eight grandchildren and one sibling, Evelyn Kluck of Macklin, SK.

She enjoyed camping, fishing, travelling and spending time with family.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in 2023.

She lived life to the fullest.

She will be dearly missed.
