Linnea Viola Marie Neilson

With such short notice on the morning of May 30th, 2026, our mother, grandmother and great grandmother Linnea Viola Marie Neilson passed away peacefully with her family at bedside.  She was 86 years of age. 

She was preceded by her husband, Gerald Richard Neilson, her parents Walter and Ann Lovdahl and brothers Dennis and Cecil Lovdahl. 

She is survived by her daughter, Melody Fehr (Randy) and their son Brett (Trina), Ryker, Tyce and Wyatt and daughter Linnea Redlick (Ryan), Emma and Jace.  Her son Duane and his daughters Lindsay Geist (Nathan) children Hailey, Kadyn, Logan and Madison and Jenna Neilson (Corbett) and Adel.  Daughter Trudy Konchakowski and children Cole (Lauren) and Ivy and daughter Brooklyn.  Her son Robin Neilson (Angela), daughters Morgan Byrt (Ryan) and Avery, Aubrey Neilson and daughter Everly.  Very special daughter in-law Mary Neilson.   

Linnea loved talking over a good cup of coffee, her coffee pot was always brewing. Besides just holidays the house was occupied with family and friends and a lot of goodies for everyone to enjoy.

Her love of knitting will be remembered through all the slippers and other items she created. Linnea and Gerald’s backyard was the family’s paradise.  Filled with flowers and unique treasures, there was always something to talk about while sitting around the fire pit cooking hotdogs and marshmallows and reminiscing good times.  

The family would like to express thanks to the Edson Hospital, doctors, Marilyn Oishi, many nurses and health care staff who cared for our mother.
