Lenard Douglas Rogers passed away peacefully at the Edson Hospital in Edson, Alberta, on April 18, 2026.
Lenard was born in Edmonton, Alberta, to Jack and Vera Rogers. Lenard and his first wife Jeannette raised three sons on the family farm at Carrot Creek, Alberta. Lenard spent the majority of his working life self-employed. His various occupations included farming, logging, sawmill operator and grader-operator. In his younger years Lenard enjoyed curling and playing baseball. Lenard also enjoyed a good game of Bingo.
Lenard will be forever remembered by his sons; Doug and family, Murray and family, Dean and family, his partner Dianne Martin and her family and his sister May Wiseman and her family.
Lenard was pre-deceased by his parents, Jack and Vera Rogers, his first wife, Jeannette Rogers (McPhee); as well as his second wife, Pearl Rogers (Benson).
In lieu of flowers his family asks that you consider a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
