Kayla Lorene Peacock

Kayla Lorene Peacock, 17, of Hinton, Alberta, passed away on February 23, 2026.

Born to her loving mother, Stacey, and father, Charlie (Cleo), Kayla was a deeply cherished daughter and a beloved sister to Teagen. She brought light, laughter, and endless love to her family and friends.

Kayla had a free spirit and a strong heart. She loved riding horses and playing hockey, giving her whole heart to both. Whether at the rink or in the saddle, her determination, energy, and beautiful spirit shone brightly. She was a loyal friend, a supportive teammate, and someone who made others feel valued and included.

She will be lovingly remembered by her parents, Stacey and Charlie (Cleo); her sister, Teagen; her grandparents, Randy and Lorraine Klein, and Norene Peacock; along with extended family and many dear friends whose lives she touched.

A Celebration of Life for Kayla and her best friend, Danica Hills, will take place on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at the Hinton Centre. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor their lives and celebrate the love and joy they brought to so many.

Though her time was far too short, the love Kayla gave and the memories she created will live on forever. She will be deeply missed, endlessly loved, and never forgotten.
