Kathleen Margaret (Jacobson) Simmons

It is with profound sadness that the family of Kathleen Margaret Simmons announce that she passed away peacefully at the age of 79 years. Kathy was predeceased by her parents John and Mary Jacobson, her two sons Tom and Wayne, along with siblings Sonya, Karen and John.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Arnold Simmons, her sisters Marion, Colleen and Gail (Gerry), her children Larry (Tracy), Carrie Ann (Reno) and Arnold Jr (Catherine), as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family members and friends.

Kathy was born November 14,1945, in Edson. She married Arnie August 10,1973 and raised their five children for the most part in Edson. Kathy worked in the area much of her life before settling down with Arnie at their well-loved lake lot in Shining Bank. She loved the outdoors, a beer or two and traveling.

Kathy will be greatly missed and there will be no Services held at her request. Instead, the family would like to invite loved ones to a Celebration of Life at her home in Shining Bank September 20, 2025. #33 56302 RR 144 Yellowhead County at 12 pm.
