Julie Ann Cochrane

  Julie Ann Cochrane of Hinton AB, passed away on February 10th, 2023. Julie was born in Edmonton, Alberta, on October 21, 1954. She grew up in Clearwater, British Columbia, and met her husband Les when she went to work at the Mt. Robson Guest Ranch. They moved to Hinton in 1977 to run their trucking company. Julie spent many hours sewing, gardening, and lunching with her friends.

  Julie’s greatest love was her family.  She was predeceased by her parents, Howie and June Mjolsness. She will be deeply missed by her husband Les; children Tanya (Don) and Chad (Lyndsay); her grandchildren Gavin, Leah, Alyana, Nigel, and Riley; her siblings, Randi (Peter), Kent (Catherine), and Melanie; her in-laws, Margie, Art, Mac (Deb), Louise and Russell (Merina), along with her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

  A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on April 22, 2023, at the Hinton Legion, at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hinton Healthcare Foundation or Alberta Diabetes Foundation.
