John Zenio Marciszyn

It is with heavy hearts that we said goodbye to our husband, dad / pops, brother, uncle, and grumpy / grampy / gramps, John Marciszyn, at the age of 83 years.

Born in Wynyard, Saskatchewan, to Michael and Dora Marciszyn on August 18, 1940. John is survived by his wife Doreen; daughter Carole (Willie) Peacock; son Don (Shannon) Marciszyn, and their children Meaghan (Steven) Woloszyn and Kaitlyn (Chase) Ernst; daughter Donna (Wayne) Hewitt, and children Patrick and Courtney Marciszyn; and great grandbaby to be Woloszyn.

We will miss him so much.

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the Hinton Healthcare staff that provided such kind care for John, including Doctors Corser, Findlay, and Sorenson, as well as the lovely nursing staff that included granddaughter Kaitlyn.

As per John’s request, a fellowship to celebrate his final golf tee time will be held upstairs at the Hinton Legion on September 22, 2024, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.

In lieu of flower tributes, donations if desired may be directed to the Hinton Healthcare Foundation or the Alberta Cancer Foundation, in memory of John Marciszyn.
