John M. Couture

July 22nd, 1938 ~ February 14th, 2018

Mr. Jean-Marie Couture, also known as “John” or “Pepere”, passed away on February 14th, 2018 at Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 79 years.

John was born on July 22nd, 1938 in Kincaid, Saskatchewan to parents Jean-Baptiste and Marie-Jeanne Couture.

John is survived by his wife Lucille Couture; children Donald (Helen) and Paul; grandchildren Aimee (Todd), Katee, Loree-Jon (Derek), Megan, Kaylee, Russell and Nicole; great-grandchildren Layne, Drayden and Alexis; siblings Carmelle, Daniel, Bernadette, Julie, Rejeanne, Jacqueline, Willie, Paulette, Lise and Pierre.

John was predeceased by his children Jean-Guy (Debbie) Couture and Colin Couture.

There will be a Prayer Service held on Thursday, February 22nd, 2018 at 7:30 P.M. at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Grande Cache, Alberta.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 23rd, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Grande Cache, Alberta, Father James Bodula as Celebrant.

In memory of John, Words of Remembrance will be spoken by Pierre Couture & Loree-Jon Couture; Readers will be Rejeanne & Bernadette; Organist Marylin Gramlick; Soloists Pierre Couture & family; Pallbearers Aimee, Katee, Loree-Jon, Paul, Megan, Don, Russell & Nicole; Honorary Pallbearers Carmelle, Bernadette, Julienne, Rejeanne, Jacqueline, Paulette & Lise.

Cremation will follow the service.

Please join the family at the Grande Cache Legion Hall following the service for a time of fellowship and refreshments.
