John Winston Bjorkquist

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of John, March 19, 2025, at the age of 83 years.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife LaVerne, of 60 years, his daughter Tracy, son John and daughter-in-law Christine; grandchildren: Daniel (Michele), Megan (Tyler), Spencer, Mason and Molly; great-granddaughter Violet; sisters: Kathy and Marge, brother Richard (Terry) and many nieces and nephews.

John was predeceased by his parents Carl and Betty; brothers: Arthur, Bill, Robert and Doug, sisters: Vera, Beatriz, Connie and niece Colleen Ida.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the nursing staff and Dr. Rawn at the Hinton General Hospital for the excellent care that he received.

There will be a Celebration of Life at the Royal Canadian Legion, 250 Pembina Ave on April 12, 2025, at I:00 pm with a lunch to follow.
