Jo-Ann Marguerite (Lavigne) Alexander

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jo-Ann Marguerite Alexander, a very loved wife, mother, daughter, sister, the best auntie, and friend. Jo-Ann passed away on Monday, July 15th, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones in Hinton, Alberta, at the age of 66 years.

Jo-Ann was born on November 9th, 1957, in Ponoka, AB, to Andre and Josephine Lavigne. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Ken, her son Ken Jr. ,  daughter Melanie (Dale) Tonsi,  father Andre Lavigne,  brother Andy (April) Lavigne, sister Dena (Dwight) Csada and brother-in-law Syd (Rose) Alexander. She will be fondly remembered by her number one grandson Matthew Tonsi, along with numerous nieces, nephew, in-laws and cousins. Jo-Ann was predeceased by her mother Joesphine.

A Celebration of Jo-Ann's Life is to take place on Saturday, August 10th, 2024, at 11:00 am,  at the Hinton Royal Canadian Legion ( 250 Pembina Ave, Hinton, AB )
