It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Jeremy. Fondly known as Jones by most of his family. Jeremy leaves a void that will never be filled.
Left to mourn him and cherish his life are his dad Mark Mackay and Jill Hauck, his mom Nicole Rumball and Richard Tremblay; siblings: Tegan, Haleigh, and Alex; grandparents: Morris & Penny Rumball, Jim & Sarah Mackay, Larry & Louise Tremblay and Susan Beitz; great grandma's Shirley Williams and Lillian Fondrick, as well as many loving and caring aunties, uncles, cousins and friends.
From a young age, Jeremy possessed an insatiable curiosity, always eager to uncover fascinating information and share his discoveries with those around him. His smile and quick sense of humor lightened any mood. Whether zooming down hills on his sled in the winter, casting a line while fishing, rounding the bases in a baseball game, exploring the wilderness while camping or kicking up dust dirt biking, he approached every activity with unwavering determination and heartfelt passion. As he grew older, his longboard became a symbol of his free spirit, and an escape, his curly hair a blur as he sped through town.
Above all Jeremy cherished his family. Visits were filled with laughter and fun as he played with his cousins and brother. Grandmas could never keep enough fresh cookies on the counter to keep Jeremy full but his first stop when visiting in the summer was always the chive plant. The untimely loss of his brother, Aaron, in 2015, forever changed Jeremy. He carried a deep empathy for others and consistently strived to express his love through his presence and actions.
We hope that Jeremy has found peace, knowing the depth of our love for him. He will forever remain in the hearts of those he leaves behind, his memory a cherished beacon.
