Jeff will be remembered most for the love he had for his children. They were the centre of his world and the greatest joy of his life. He adored being their dad and carried an unmistakable pride in them everywhere he went. Whether he was talking about them, supporting them, laughing with them, or simply being there when they needed him.
Jeff showed every day how deeply he loved them. Being their father was the role he treasured most.
Jeff was also known as someone who could make just about anyone laugh. He loved joking around, teasing in the kindest way, and finding humour in everyday moments. His quick wit, playful personality, and unmistakable laugh made people feel comfortable right away. He had a gift for lifting spirits and bringing lightness wherever he went, and time spent with Jeff almost always meant time spent smiling.
He was a loving partner, a caring son, and a loyal brother who showed up for his family in ways big and small. He believed in enjoying life, making memories, and making sure the people around him felt included and cared about.
Jeff was well known and loved throughout the community, especially at the rink where he proudly drove the Zamboni. He liked to joke that he might have had one of the most important jobs in the building, and anyone who knew him could see how much he genuinely enjoyed being part of the place where people gathered. He made friends easily and left a strong impression everywhere he went.
He also had incredible taste in music and loved sharing it with others. Whether it was turning up a favourite song or introducing someone to something new, music was another way Jeff connected with people and brought them together.
Jeff is survived by his sons, Odin Malach Trumbley and Cash Gnarles Clark and was predeceased by his mother, Audrey Erickson(Harry), his father, Jeff Trumbley Sr. (Bonnie) and brothers Andrew Trumbley(Thalia), Greg Trumbley(Jennette) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and countless dear friends.
Jeff’s heart was so big it seemed bigger than his body could hold. He gave his love generously and completely, especially to his children, who meant everything to him. His laughter, his stories, and the way he made people feel will be remembered always by his family, friends, and the entire community.
