James D. McInnis of Edson Alberta, Beloved Grandfather of Austin & Kathryn Fisher, passed away surrounded by family on December 12th, 2022, at the age of 59 years.
Born on May 11th, 1963, to Harriett Mae Macumber in Wolfville, NS. he was born into a large family, with many siblings and half siblings. James had a love for being outdoors hunting and fishing. He would spend any time he had doing either. Over the years he became a jack of all trades doing numerous different laborer jobs, as a Landscaper, Mechanic for Ford, Long-haul trucking, then into hauling Super B’s. As life grew on James’s main joy in life was becoming a grandfather, spending time with his 2 grandchildren and his little sweet pea and being around the bon fire with friends and family.
James is survived by his life companion/friend Theresa MacNeil, children: Nicole McInnis, Jillisa Fisher (Taylor Fisher), grandchildren: Austin & Kathryn Fisher, several siblings, half siblings, ones he considered siblings and several nieces and nephews. James was predeceased by his mother Harriett Macumber. A celebration of life will be held on May 13, 2023. Details to follow.
