It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Hervé Moulun, who departed this world peacefully on March 10, 2025, at the age of 61. Hervé, known to many as Harvey, was a beloved brother and friend.
Harvey was born on February 25, 1964, in McLennan Alberta, to loving parents Thérèse and Camil Moulun. He grew up in a close-knit family with his five older siblings, Gilbert, Vivian, Daniel, Doreen and Denise. Harvey’s early years were marked by a keen curiosity and a love for learning. After graduating from high school, he attended the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, where he attained a designation in business administration.
Harvey’s professional career spanned over three decades in business administration. His career included work at Trimac Transportation in Surrey B.C. and Rocky Mountain Salvage Inc. in Hinton, Alberta.
Outside of his professional life Harvey had a wide range of interests. He was an avid reader, a history buff, and a talented calligrapher. Harvey was also an avid Edmonton Oilers and Elks (Eskimos) fan.
Harvey is survived by his brothers Gilbert (and wife Thérèse), Daniel (and wife Lorraine), sisters Vivian, Doreen (and husband Tim) and Denise (and husband Vladimir), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
His family and friends will celebrate Harvey’s life at later date.
