Harvey Addison Hughes

It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Harvey Addison Hughes of Edson Alberta on Friday December 17, 2021, at age 64.

After a long courageous battle with cancer, Harvey passed away peacefully with his wife Rose and two of their children by his side.

Harvey was born March.22, 1957 in North Bay Ontario to Garnet and JoAnn. Harvey had 4 siblings, Sisters Cynthia Moore (Mike), Katherine Blowers (Sheldon), Tracy Wegren (Jim), And brother Jason Hughes. Harvey and Rose have three children, Rhonda Getson (Roy), Garret Hughes (Kelsey), and Amber Hughes. Harvey was a grandfather to six Grandchildren Hailey Getson, Carissa Getson, Lexi Hughes, Kooper Hughes, Lennix Hughes, and Jakobie Wegren. Harvey also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.

Harvey was predeceased by his father Garnet Hughes, His stepfather Len Rosdal, mother JoAnn Rosdal, mother in law Doreen Bauman, brother in law Michael Bauman and sister in law Jennifer Gratton.

A celebration of life will be held Monday January 3rd, 1:00 pm at the Edson Funeral Home in Edson Alberta.

A private interment will take place at the Hattonford Cemetery at a later date.
