Obituary
Gloria Alberta Plante was born on March 24, 1944, in Pioneer, Alberta, to Frank Findlay and Eva Longmore. She moved to Marlboro, where she raised her children, and her extended family surrounded her. Gloria loved fishing, hunting, gardening, cooking and canning. Her favourite singers were Hank Williams Sr., George Jones and Don Williams.
Gloria was survived by her sons Archie and Raymond Plante, her grandchildren Jonathan and Gloria, as well as multiple great grandchildren. Her children James and Patty have passed on and are now with their mother in heaven.
A wake will be held at the Marlboro Community Hall on Friday, July 7, 2023 at 7:00 PM with a Funeral Service to follow on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 12:00 PM and Interment at the Marlboro Cemetery.
