Gloria Eileen (Tunke) Baudin

ALWAYS LOVED, NEVER FORGOTTEN, FOREVER MISSED

It is with greatest sorrow and the heaviest of hearts we announce the passing of Gloria Eileen Baudin on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at the age of 87.

Gloria was predeceased by her beloved husband, Marc Sebastien Baudin, March 23, 2021.

Gloria will be greatly missed by her son Larry (Marina) Baudin of Edmonton, daughter Trudy Baudin (Dave) of Edmonton and son Kenny (Heather) Baudin of Edson; grandchildren Ryan Baudin (Shyla Christensen), Shaylene (Chris) Rudy, Katrina Baudin, Paul Bay, Brittany (Nick) Orfino, Michael Baudin (Kayleen Charlton), Briana (Cody) Kendall, along with 10 great grandchildren.

Gloria was born on July 14, 1936, on a homestead in North Rosevear near Edson, AB, to Herman & Rosa Tunke. She spent her childhood on the homestead, to later meet Marc Baudin. The two were married on August 22, 1953.

Marc and Gloria settled on a farm in North Rosevear, where they raised their three children. Marc and Gloria retired from the farm in September 1993, moving to Edson, AB, to begin the next chapter of their lives.

In July of 2014, they moved to Spruce Grove, AB, to a senior complex where they continued living out their retirement years. After the passing of Marc, Gloria returned to Edson in April of 2022, where she lived out her final days.

Gloria will be deeply missed, she touched so many lives with her kind nature, love for her children and grandchildren. To Gloria her family meant everything. We will always remember that special smile, that caring heart, that warm embrace you always gave us.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Sacred Heart Church in Edson, Alberta, on Friday, November 10, 2023 at 1:00 PM with inurnment to follow at the Glenwood Cemetery.
