Gerald (Gerry) Holger Sokoloski
It is with extreme sadness that the family of Gerald Holger Sokoloski, 66, of Edson, announces his sudden passing on Monday, February 10th, 2020. He was born November 25th, 1953 in Edson, Alberta, to Alex and Irene Sokoloski. He married Pauline Sokoloski (Sabourin) on May 21st, 1983 and welcomed their daughter and only child, Nicole, into the world on July 1st, 1985.
Gerry is survived by his wife Pauline and daughter Nicole, his grandchildren Abby and Beau Berube, his sister Tracy (Rob) Pettersen, nephew Chad (Mel) Dickson and great nephew Kyle, nephew Chance Dickson, niece Chelsea Dickson, his brother Bob Sokoloski, as well as many other extended family members and friends.
Gerry is preceded in death by his father Alex Sokoloski and Mother Irene, son-in-Law Perry Berube, and countless friends that also left him far too soon.
Our fondest memories will be his love of fishing and the outdoors, his amazing memory and the many stories of being young and reckless, his many passions and collections (most recently knives and leatherwork). He will be missed beyond measure.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Edson Legion at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 28th, 2020.
