George William Nicolson

George resided in Hinton AB for 61 years where he worked and raised his family. George was born on the farm near Semans, Saskatchewan April 10, 1929, and passed away Feb 2, 2023, at Pine Valley Lodge in Hinton AB.

He is survived by his wife, Elsie, of 61 years, his children, Alanna Nicolson, Janice (Mark) Madsen, Greg Nicolson; his grandchildren, Daniel Lunn, Kyle (Amie) Madsen, Jenna (Brendon) Carbert, Meagan Madsen, Stephen (Toni) Nicolson, Micheal Nicolson (Taylor) and Ashlee Nicolson. He is also survived by his sister Marion Nicolson. He was blessed to have spent a short time with his great grandchild - Joshua George Carbert.

He is predeceased by his father, James, his mother Hazel, his stepmother Grace and his two brothers Jack and Allan.

The Funeral Service will be held Thursday, February 9, 2023, at 1:30pm at Gateway Community Church, 101 Douglas Drive, Hinton, AB.
