Gary Thomas Groat

Gary Thomas Groat passed away surrounded by his family on February 21, 2026, at the age of 69.

He is survived by his wife Sherry; daughters Kally (Cam), and Katie (Ashley); grandchildren Harper, Oliver, and Emmy; his four brothers Ken, Gordon, Donny and Ron, sister Sherril, and their spouses; ten nieces and nephews; and many more extended family members and friends.

Gary is reunited with his parents Maxine and Joe, and oldest sister Joanne.

In keeping with his wishes, the immediate family will have a celebration of life at a later date and there will be no public service. He also wanted his obituary kept short.

He kept his sense of humour until the very end. We will miss him forever.
