"Fred" Frederickus Johanous Wassing
Obituary
It is in great sadness our family announces the sudden passing of Fred Wassing, on August 26, 2023, at the age of 58. Fred was born October 5, 1964, in Edmonton Alberta. He lived in Edson, Alberta, most his life. He worked as a journeyman insulator. Fred loved spending his free time out at Wilmore Park with family and friends, having wiener roasts or walking the trails. He also enjoyed taking his family on camping trips to BC.
Fred is survived by his loving partner Pam Quast, his children Falan (Kadin), Mel and Zack, as well as his granddaughters Willow and Airabella, his mother Florence Vankoughnett, sisters Anna, Chris and Barb (Don) as well as his brother John (Sherry) and countless nieces and nephews who cared a great deal for him.
Fred was predeceased by his Father Fred Sr. and grandson Dallas.
Fred will forever be remembered by friends and family.
