Frances Arlin (Trydal) Miller

Frances Arlin Miller (née Trydal) was born on January 3, 1940, in Edson, Alberta, and passed away peacefully at the age of 84 on March 30, 2024, in Edson, Alberta, surrounded by her family.
Fran lived most of her life in Edson. She loved spending time with her family and friends, spoiling her beloved pets, gardening, walking, fishing, playing cards, dancing and singing along to old country songs. She was a wonderful cook and baker, she had spent many of her working years as a camp cook. Any visitor to her little house was greeted with a warm smile and hug, a treat and a cup of tea.
She is lovingly and forever remembered by her sons Allen (Loretta) and Wesley (Beverley); her grandchildren Jason (Rena), Shane (Sharon), Jeremy, Cara (Jon) and Cory; her great-grandchildren Ryver (Clinton), Alyna (Adam), Ryley, Krymson, Jayden, Abbiegail, Connor, Rochelle, Ralph Vincent and Renmel Jan; her great-great-grandson Ezra; her sister Darlene Mole and brothers Edwin (Colleen), Roy and Randy (Cathy); sister in law Jean MacMillan, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

 She was predeceased by her cherished husband Doug; parents John and Phyllis Trydal; sister Marian Lafleur; father- in-law Lee; mother-in-law Hilda; brothers in law Alfred, Doug Mole, George Brown and Grant MacMillan; and sisters in law Evelyn, Mary Brown and Irene Stevens.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the Pine Grove Hall. The family requests any memorial contributions be made to the Edson Animal Rescue Society (EARS) or the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation, in lieu of flowers.
