Elfriede Elise Katherine (Hopf) Gruchel

Elfriede Gruchel, passed away peacefully on February 29/2020 in Hinton, Alberta at the age of 94 years old.  She was born in Bad Nauheim, Germany on January 18/1926. 

Elfriede was predeceased by her husband Erwin Gruchel. Her parents Karl and Elise and her brother Erwin Hopf.  She is survived by her Daughter Margit Bish (Brian). Her grandchildren Brandy Michaud (Dean), Scott Bish (Danielle), great grandchildren Matthew, Chase, Corbon and Cora.

She enjoyed her time at Pine Valley Lodge, as she lived there for many years.  The family would like to thank the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff at the Hinton General Hospital for there kindness, compassion and dedication.

Interment will take place at a later date.
