Edna Marguerite (Brown) Rink

During the wee hours of February 22nd,2025, after 94 ½ years, Edna Rink closed her sparkling blue eyes for the last time, leaving a vast patchwork quilt of warm memories in her wake.

Edna is loved and will be remembered by her children Robert (Mary), Donna (Fred), Patricia (Bob), Linda (Ken), Lianne and her special friend Jolene Johnston (Brad). Edna is also loved and missed by her grandchildren Lindsay (Phil), Kelsey, Berit, Shan (Brendon), Sheldon (Christa), Courtney (Travis) as well as 6 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Edna’s much-loved partner in life’s adventures, Allan Rink, predeceased her in 1993.

Edna’s passing marks the end of an era for the Brown family as she was predeceased by her parents, her 4 siblings and their spouses.  Their children will remember their aunt as a favourite, for her sparkling blue eyes, her quick smile, her easy laugh, her project show & tells, her warm welcomes, and her bottomless cookie tin.

There will be a Family Celebration of Life for Edna in July.  No formal Funeral will take place.
