Doreen Cecilia (Klenk) Gallant

Doreen Cecelia Gallant of Edson, Alberta, passed away on March 27, 2025, at the age of 87. Doreen was born in Imperial, Saskatchewan, to John and Margaret Klenk on August 13, 1937. Throughout her life she held active roles in the Roman Catholic Church, Royal Canadian Legion and Heart and Stroke Foundation.

 Doreen was survived by her children, Guy (Karin), Katherine (Lee), Michael (Jennifer), Robert (Carol), Donald (Suzanne), Wanda Nolter, Joseph (Rosslyn), Carol Martinsen (Bradley), Ann, Louise (Michael), 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, sister Kathleen Gall and brother Donald. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Margaret, brothers Lawrence, Adolf, Bernard, Edward, John and sisters Magdalena McCulloch, Florence and Marjorie, daughter Louise Marie, grandson Dalyn and sons-in-law Ernie Nolter and Milan Kreuh..

 Doreen is remembered as a strong woman who never wavered in her faith in God or her family. She relied on that faith to persevere through many challenges in her life.

 The Funeral Services will be conducted at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edson, Alberta, on April 12, 2025. The Visitation will be at 12:00 PM, with the Mass to follow at 1:00 PM, with Father Thomas Basani officiating. The Interment will follow at the Edson Glenwood Cemetery at 2:30PM.
