It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dianne Heske Guimond of Hinton, AB. She departed this life on July 12, 2025, in the Hinton Hospital at the age of 64, after a long battle with cancer.
Dianne leaves to mourn her loving husband John Guimond, Hinton, AB, her two sons Josh and Jordan Heske from Edmonton, as well as stepson Jordan Stanway, residing in Vancouver, BC; her living siblings, five sisters and one brother; Paula, Susan, Kelly, Tracey, Micheal and Corry. Also, her brother-in-law, Reno, of Lethbridge, sister-in-law Colette, Edson, and many friends and close acquaintances.
She was pre-deceased by her parents, Mary and Norman Hodgin.
Dianne was born in Toronto, Ontario, on April 20,1961. The family moved to Uranium City, Saskatchewan, when Dianne was 12 and resided there until the age of 18. After galloping around for a bit, she ended up in Hinton and resided there until the end of her natural life.
Dianne enjoyed gardening, camping, playing baseball, also socializing at Hinton Legion playing cribbage, attending the Saturday meat draw event, and dancing, where she met John, who was a drummer in the band. She was hooked and became his most ardent fan.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Dianne’s to the Cancer Society. A Celebration of Life for Dianne is planned for a later date.
