Dawn Marcy (Williamson) Price

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Dawn Marcy Price (née Williamson), 51, of Jasper, Alberta, on November 21, 2024, following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born on July 25, 1973, in Grande Prairie, Dawn was the cherished daughter of Doug and Joan Williamson. She was a devoted and loving mother to her daughters, Ainsley and Soryn Price, and a beloved sister to Robyn Williamson and Curtis Williamson. She also leaves behind her nephews, Hunter and Jack, and her niece, Ember Dawn, who brought her immense pride and joy.

Dawn grew up in Valleyview, Alberta, on a small family farm, where she discovered her lifelong love for animals and a deep connection to nature. As a young adult, she moved to Jasper, where she worked as a lifeguard while pursuing her career in nursing. Jasper is where she planted her roots, established her family with Grier Price, and built a meaningful career as a compassionate and dedicated registered nurse, touching countless lives with her warmth and kindness.

Dawn had an adventurous and loving spirit. She found joy in traveling, friendships, and the tranquility of nature. Beaches, mountains, and the great outdoors were where she felt most at peace. She was known for her loyalty, kindness, and unshakable passion for the people she cared about.

Her legacy of love, strength, and compassion lives on in her family and the countless friends and lives she touched.

A celebration of Dawn’s life will be held on May 11, 2025, in Jasper, AB, at the Jasper Airstrip.
