Dave (David Leonard) Lamoureux
June 6, 1951 – October 7, 2021
Dave Lamoureux, 70, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2021, after a short battle with Cancer. He was born on June 6, 1951, in Lacombe, Alberta, to Louise and Leonard Lamoureux.
Dave grew up in Lacombe. He moved to Nanaimo, British Columbia, with his parents, at age 15. He later moved back to Alberta to find work. He was a contractor in the Oilfield for about 30 years. He then changed careers to become a Motor Coach Driver. This is where he met his wife, Chantal. Dave was truly authentic, funny, trustable and very caring to his loved ones.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Chantal Lamoureux, his 5 sisters: Rita (Ken Harper), Fern Tomlinson, Bella Trudel, Jeanette Stock and Lorraine Gula.
He is also survived by his son Jesse (Stacey), his 3 stepsons: Samuel (Fanny), Jonathan (Stacy), and Thierry Dionne, as well as his mother-in- law Therese, brother -in- law Paul and sister-in-law Diane Blanchette.
Dave is survived by his grandchildren Madison, Cooper, Keaton and Macy Lamoureux, and by his many cousins, nephews, nieces and friends. He is also survived by his lifelong friend from Nanaimo, Dave Mars.
Dave was predeceased by his mother (1979) and father (2006). He was also predeceased by brothers-in-law Don Tomlinson (2018), Sloane Stock (2018) and Don Gula (0217).
