Daniel David Findlay

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel David Findlay on May 31, 2026, at the age of 87.

Daniel was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 64 years, Madeleine; his parents, Marie and David; his siblings Leonard, Lloyd, Nancy, Peter, Vivian, Raymond, Linda, and Alan; and his sister-in-law, Valerie.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children Linda, Cindy, Nova (Robert), Elizabeth, Danny, Marvin (Virginia), and Edwin (Michelle), as well as his special daughter, Betty (Darcy). He is also lovingly remembered by his 12 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, brother John Findlay, brother-in-law Ahti, sister-in-law Louise, and many extended family members and friends.

Daniel will be remembered for his love of family, his quiet strength, and the many memories he created with those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A Wake will be held at the Edson Friendship Centre on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with interment to follow at Glenwood Cemetery.
