Daniel Aebi

Dan was born in Switzerland in 1950. He always had a love for horses. He trained as a farrier in Switzerland and had just finished his training when he came to Canada in 1970. He soon got into hunting and was so excited when he dragged home his first buck! Dan was a very talented artist and loved to paint and draw. There is a large painting that he painted at the ski lodge at Harper Mountain in Kamloops. He worked at various ranches in the interior of BC before settling in Edson, Alberta. Dan had a kind heart, kept in touch with his family in BC, but his heart belonged in the mountains of Alberta. His ability to tell a story is well-known, and he will be missed and remembered by many. 

Dan was pre-deceased by his mother Anne Aebi, father Kurt Aebi and sister Theres Stamm.

Left to mourn his loss is his sister Madi Schatti and brother Michael Aebi.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Medicine Lodge Grounds on April 21, 2023 at 11:00 AM, Lunch to follow
