Cortney Marie Haubi

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Cortney Marie Haubi from Edson Alberta, on September 8th, 2025, at the age of 26 years old. Cortney was born on October 23rd, 1998, in Hinton, Alberta, to Patrick Haubi and Susan Haubi.

Cortney was blessed with 4 beautiful children James (10), Kingsley (7), Haeveen (4), and Nyjah (3).

Predeceased by her grandparents – Fred Haubi (2019), and Mary Haubi (2021).

Cortney will be deeply missed by her parents – Patrick and Sheri Haubi, Susan and Travis Murphy. Children; James, Kingsley, Haeveen, and Njyah. Sisters; Carole (Dylan), Desiree and Dinnene. Brother; Nickson. Niece; Brynlee and Grandparents Valerie and Evert Jonker and George Joynt. Cortney will also be dearly missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hinton HELP’s – Homelessness Program. As Cortney Haubi lost her battle with mental health, addictions, and homelessness.

Cortney will be remembered for her creativity and the profound love she had for her children. We love you so much Cortney, until we meet again – rest in peace.
