Cordell Michael Maclellan

Cordell Maclellan,44, tragically died on November 4,2021, while at work. He was born on June 12,1977, in New Waterford, Nova Scotia. His parents are Susan Parrott and Jim Maclellan.

Cordell grew up in Ontario and moved to Edson, Alberta, in 2012. He was a Crane Operator in the oil field for almost 10 years and then found his dream job at Indominous Sports. Cordell loved fishing, hunting, and long-range shooting. He lived in the moment and never took life too seriously. Cordell was funny, caring, and spoke with his mind with others.

Cordell was a proud father of his newborn son, Grayson Maclellan. He is survived by his daughters, Alexis Maclellan and Alexis Lavallee; his partner, Melissa Boudreau; his mother, Susan Parrott; his stepfather, Dave Parrott; his father, Jim Maclellan, stepmother, Yvette Maclellan; grandson, Liam Pryor; and granddaughter, Willow Tkachuk.

Cordell was predeceased by his brother, James Maclellan and granddaughter Scarlet Tkachuk.

A ceremony of celebration of life is scheduled for November 28,2021, at the Edson Legion. A luncheon will follow for family and friends at 1217 63rd.
