On August 10th, 2021, Christine Flora Delphine Plante (nee:Gauchier), of Marlboro, Alberta, beloved wife of Leonard Plante (2014), passed away at the age of 79 years.

Christine is survived by her children, Margaret (Dennis) Larson of Red Deer, AB, Tama (Gilbert) Belcourt of Marlboro, AB, Angela Plante of Edson, AB, Dawn (Ben) Belcourt of Marlboro, AB, Casey (Rebecca) Plante of Skeetchestn, BC and Christy (Shaun) McGee of Olds, AB. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren as well as numerous other relatives and a host of friends. 

Christine was predeceased by her husband, Leonard Plante, her parents, Johnny and Margaret Gauchier, grandchildren, Chad Larson, Jesse Belcourt and Erica Plante, siblings, Reggie Gauchier, Rod Gauchier, Jimmy Gauchier, Lloyd Gauchier, Carol Paul, Colleen Miller and Donnie Gauchier.

Wake services will be held at the Marlboro Community Hall on August 16th, 2021, at 7:00 pm and funeral services will follow on Tuesday, August 17th, 2021, at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edson, AB with Father Thomas Reddy Basani presiding. 

In lieu of other tributes, donations if desired may be made to the Diabetes Association 220-6223 2 Street SE, Calgary, AB T2H 1J5 in memory of Christine Flora Delphine Plante.
