Christine Adaline Gauchier of Edmonton, Alberta, passed away suddenly at the age of 49 at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton.
Christine was born to Don and Debbie Gauchier on November 9, 1973, in Edson, Alberta. Christine grew up in Marlboro, Alberta and went to school in Edson, Alberta. She worked at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton for approximately 20 years. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was always laughing and joking.
Christine is survived by her partner Robert Murphy, her daughter Gabrielle Gauchier (fiancé Brandon Chin), her mother, Debbie Gauchier, brothers John, Donald, Darrell, Robert (Leslie) and Tyler. Sisters Aldie (Rick), Denise and April. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, numerous cousins, as well as nieces and nephews.
Christine was predeceased by her dad, Donald, in April of 2012, her maternal grandparents John and Isabel Longmore, and her paternal grandparents John and Margaret Gauchier.
There will be a viewing at Edson Foothills Memorial Chapel on Friday, February 3, 2023, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM.
The Funeral Mass will take place at Sacred Heart Parish, Edson, Alberta, on February 4, 2023, at 12:00 PM.
Interment will take place at the Marlboro Cemetery with lunch to follow at the Marlboro Community Hall.
