It's never easy to say goodbye to someone who has been a part of our lives. When that person is gone, there's a hole where they used to be in your life. I’m sure that’s what all of us are feeling today. Some of us knew him better than others, but he had an impact on our lives, and we want to honor that. And because he had such a big effect on us, it's not going to be easy to say goodbye. At such a difficult time, it's important to remember the good memories we all have of him. By holding on to those memories, we can focus on the good times we had together and help each other find comfort in this difficult time. Some of us may remember him by his love for our Pepsi or his never-ending stories about driving trucks. He was a hardworking man and very motivated, he made sure the people around him were always happy and I could stand here and rant about all the good qualities he had but we would be here all day. I will say he was quite the storyteller and never failed to keep us entertained. Even though it’s always hard to lose someone you know, to let go of them and move on. But if we keep those good memories in our hearts and minds, we can find comfort, he will always be with us, watching over us, and I know he would want us to celebrate his life and celebrate the good memories rather than focusing on this loss, even though that is completely unavoidable, being together as family I know we will make it through this and make him proud. You will forever be in our hearts Chris.
