Cheryl Marie (Muir) Baumet

Cheryl Marie Baumet (nee Muir) succumbed to cancer at the age of 64.

Cheryl is survived by her loving husband David Baumet.

 In life Cheryl was loved and respected by all of those who knew her. Her commitment to family, community and work was extraordinary and made her a huge asset wherever she went. To family, she was always there to help with food, shelter, time and problem solving. To the community she volunteered for the Girl Guides of Canada, the Tumbler Ridge Medical Assistance Society, the T.R. Parents of Special Needs Children, the Community Health Planning Group and the Royal Canadian Legion. Her work ethic resulted in glowing exemplary resumes as she moved on to other places and opportunities. Her beautiful personality made friendships that endured both time and distance. Cheryl’s pleasant nature and endearing zest for life was inspirational and appreciated. Cheryl will remain in our hearts forever.

Cheryl was the daughter of Wallace Muir (deceased) and Shirley Muir. She is survived by her two sisters Pat Oliver and Kim Muir and predeceased by her brother Brian Muir. She is survived by her daughters Elisa Dzus and husband Lance Macdonald, Tamara Dell and husband Chris Dell, Kyla Dzus, Tanya Dzus and predeceased by her son Justin Dzus. She is survived by her grandchildren Ashtyn, Hailey, River, Skylar, Parker, Ava, Azilina, Kaycee, Isabelle, Daniel and Dalton.

A Celebration of Life will be held at The Best Western High Road Hotel, 300 52 St, Edson, Alberta, October 12, 2024 at 2:00 PM
