Catherine Anne (Whittaker) Tracey

It is with deep sadness that the family of Catherine Anne Tracey announces her passing on March 16, 2025, at the age of 71 years, at the Whitecourt Community Healthcare Centre.

Catherine was born in Brantford, Ontario, where at a young age she joined the Canadian Armed Forces and was medically released after serving 12 years, with her last posting in central New Brunswick. Catherine enjoyed photography, gardening, nature and spending time with grandchildren, family and friends.

Catherine is survived by her husband Stephen Tracey, daughter Samantha, son Thomas, and six grandchildren. Cathy is also survived by siblings Ricky, Susan and Carol.

The family would like to thank Dr. Ojedokun, the nurses and staff of the Whitecourt Community Healthcare Centre for the exceptional care, compassion and commitment during Catherine’s final days.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the future where family and friends will be invited for a time of fellowship.
