Catherine was born on December 8, 1976, in Montreal, Quebec.
Sadly, she passed away on July 16, 2025, in Edmonton, Alberta.
She was pre-deceased by her father, Rene Lucas, her grandson T.J. Klassen, and her brother in-law Burlington Neiffer.
Catherine was survived by daughter Gabrielle Klassen (Chris Klassen) grandson Lincoln, son Kadin Cornelius (Morgan Lawrence), granddaughters Veyla and Airabella, son Sheldon Cornelius and daughter Alexis Cornelius, her mother, Manon Paquette Lucas, her sister, Jacinthe Lucas and her aunts, uncles and cousins from Quebec and many, many friends.
Cathy loved big and always greeted people with that infectious smile. She was known for her witty sense of humor. Laughter to her was the best medicine. Cathy had the best advice and was always willing to help or talk over a good cup of coffee. She loved a good aimless drive with her loved ones and never missed an opportunity for car karaoke. Music was soothing to her soul; there was never a moment she wasn't singing or humming. Singing lullabies to her babies and grandbabies was some of her most cherished moments.
Cathy was made to be outdoors, one of her favorite places was sitting around a campfire cracking jokes with a perfectly burnt marshmallow. A beach, a lake or a big mud puddle, Cathy was always down for an adventure with or without a destination. She loved fishing, as long as she didn't have to touch anything slimy or wiggly.
We lost a beautiful soul! Rest easy My Daughter, Our Mother, Our Ranny, My Sister, Our Friend.
