Carol Shirley (Tetlock) Thomas

It is with very heavy hearts that the family announce the passing of Shirley Thomas. Shirley was born in Salmon Arm, British Columbia. She moved to Alberta in her later teen years where she met and married Kenneth Thomas. They married April 19,1954 in the town of Edson, Alberta. Ken and Shirley proceeded to have 4 children which they raised together on a farm in Carrot Creek. The Thomas family remained on the old homestead until their children grew and moved away and with the passing of Ken in 1989, Shirley moved to the city of Edmonton, Alberta.

Shirley was a wonderful pillar to the community, and she will be greatly missed. She leaves behind her 3 sons, James, Lyle and Raymond, along with her youngest daughter Catherine. Shirley will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, great grandchildren and numerous family members and friends. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 11:00 am. followed by refreshments at the Carrot Creek Hall.
