It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Beverly Marguerite See (Dixon),
loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Beverly was born in Cadomin, Alberta, on July 4, 1945, and passed away at the age of 78 on June 17, 2024, in Edson, Alberta.
Bev was the third child of five born to Lucy and Bill Dixon. Until the age of five, she lived with her family in Mercoal, Alberta. After that they moved to their farm near Peers, Alberta. After graduating high school, she moved for a brief time to Calgary and worked at the hospital there. Wanting to be closer to family and friends, she moved to Edson and worked in the kitchen at the hospital. Bev married her lifelong partner, Tom See, on March 26, 1966. They moved around a bit the first few years but made themselves a permanent home near Edson, where they raised their family.
Bev loved spring flowers, yellow roses, gardening, baking, cooking and her true joy in life was becoming a grandparent.
Left to grieve her loss are her loving husband, Tom See, her daughter Sherri and Rick Minter, her son Jim See, and her only grandchild Valerie Abbott. Also, her siblings Mary and Jim Pierce of Spruce Grove, Alberta, Bill and Isa Dixon of Peers, Alberta, George and June Dixon of Carrot Creek, Alberta, Marshal and Rita Dixon of Fairview, Alberta as well as her brother-in-law John and Joan See of Long Lake, Alberta, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and host of friends.
