Arthur William Goddard

It is with overwhelming sadness that we announce the passing of Arthur William Goddard on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025.  Art passed away peacefully at the Edson Hospital.

Art was born in New Liskeard, Ontario, on February 14th, 1957. Art called Edson his home for many years. He loved his family, friends and time shared with his grandchildren. He enjoyed playing golf, hockey, slo-pitch baseball and curling. He loved helping with projects and was very patient, sometimes too patient. He had a passion for art (mostly pencil sketching) and playing guitar.

Art will be perpetually loved and immensely missed by his wife of 44 years, Margaret Goddard. He is survived by his children Douglas Goddard, Michelle Fahlen and son in-law Evan Fahlen, as well as his four grandchildren, Olivia Goddard, Tristan Goddard, Morgan Goddard and Lucus Goddard.

He leaves behind his sister Velma and four brothers, Wes, Wayne, Glen, and Jim, as well as many other family members.

Art was predeceased by his parents Ellsie and Russell, his one sister, Jackie, and his three brothers Dale, Mel and Micheal.

Sadly, he was also predeceased by his son Jonathan Goddard.
