Armin Seethaler passed away on November 3, 2023, in Edson, Alberta, at the age of 89. He was born on June 27, 1934, in Edson, Alberta, to Frieda and Erich Seethaler. He was born and raised in the Pinedale area, where his sister Lori was born on the farm. The family moved to Rosevear in March 1951, in July he joined the Air Force, becoming a Radar Technician. On July 23, 1956, he was honorably discharged.
Armin decided to travel to the United States, where he was married, following which he decided to go to Pago-Pago in American Samoa, where he spent 10 years teaching in one of the schools. Later, he moved to the United States again, where he worked at Sears in a repair shop, before he came back to Canada. He lived in Edson, later moving into the Continuing Care Centre in 2018.
Armin will be dearly missed by those left to mourn his loss: sister Lori, great niece Katrina, nephews Chris (Wendy) and Alan (Amber), great nephew Steven as well as his stepson Mark Wells.
