Angele Laboucane
1938-2019
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Angele Laboucane (Mom, Grandma and Great Grandma), aged 80, in Edson Alberta on Friday Nov 8, 2019. Angele was born in Vegreville, Alberta on Nov 17, 1938, to Olivine and Paul Tessier.
Survived by her children, Doug (Pat), Urb (Judy), Alice (Willis), Mary (Gerry), Jeanne (Ed), Richard (Dixie), Dan (Sam), Mel (Josie) and 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, Brother Rosaire (Rita), Sister Cecile (Blackie), and numerous relatives and grand dogs.
She was predeceased by her husband Herb (1997), brother Albert, Sister Rita and best friend Joyce Samson.
She loved to sew, knit, crochet, gardening, bingo, travelling, and playing cards (Crib and Whist), floor curling and horseshoes.
She also loved going to her kids and grandkids hockey games and ball games. She was the best cheerleader ever.
In lieu of floral tributes, donations can be made to the New Parkland Lodge Furnishing Fund.
A “Wake” for Angele will take place on Friday Nov. 22, 2019 at 7:00pm at Sacred Heart Church (4803 6 Ave, Edson, AB)
A “Celebration of Life” will take place on Saturday Nov. 23, 2019 at 11:00am at Sacred Heart Church.
